Leah has gained a wide range of experience across the Firm’s practice areas and has developed a broad practice in the areas of civil litigation with a particular emphasis on land related matters (including land acquisition). 

She has represented clients as junior counsel at all tiers of the Malaysian courts for various disputes including matters involving the accreditation of medical programmes, professional negligence and claims for the recovery of multi-million-ringgit assets. 

Leah has recently contributed a chapter on "Litigation in the Construction Court" in "Law and Practice of Construction Law in Malaysia" (Sweet & Maxwell, 2021). She also serves as a member of the Bar Council’s Environment and Climate Change Committee and the National Young Lawyers and Pupils committee. 

In her spare time, Leah enjoys keeping abreast with developments in environmental law specifically focusing on countries’ implementation of the Paris Agreement as well as climate change rulings (such as the Shell decision and its impact on Big Oil).

Leah obtained her LL.B (Hons) from The University of Leeds and is a Member of the Honourable Society of The Middle Temple. She has been an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since 2020.
