Our Associate, Priscilla Lim, recently spent 2 weeks with LNT & Partners in Hanoi, Vietnam—a distinguished full-service law firm that stands prominently in the Vietnamese legal landscape.
During her stay in Hanoi, Priscilla learned about Vietnam's civil law system, gaining valuable insights while observing the preparations for a complex arbitration dispute. She also shared her knowledge on Malaysia's common law system with the LNT & Partners team, fostering an exchange of views and insights into the nuances of different legal frameworks.
Priscilla also had the privilege of attending the Made in Vietnam Energy Forum, an event organised by the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF). The Forum discussed Vietnam's strategies and policies for the ongoing energy transition. Notably, the Forum marked the launch of the Made in Vietnam Energy Plan 3.0, a comprehensive report by the Power and Energy Working Group of VBF, which presented strategic recommendations from the private sector to the Government, aiming to catalyse private sector involvement in energy development.
Beyond professional engagements, the LNT & Partners team brought Priscilla out to explore the vibrant sights of Hanoi, where she learned about Vietnamese culture and history.
We extend our sincere gratitude to LNT & Partners for their partnership and warm hospitality. The connections forged during this collaboration are invaluable, and we eagerly anticipate future opportunities to further enhance our collaborative efforts.
