Our Senior Associate, Jen Hui, was a judge at the preliminary rounds of the Dato’ Hashim Hamzah Internal Moot Court Competition 2024 organised by the Advocacy and Mooting Unit of Universiti Utara Malaysia on 5 January 2024.

The Moot Problem presented was largely premised upon the Federal Court’s decision in Peguam Negara Malaysia v. Mkini Dotcom Sdn Bhd & Anor [2021] 2 MLJ 652. A big congratulations to all the participating teams for their hard work, dedication, and exemplary performances. It was a challenging task to evaluate such high-caliber arguments, but it was truly inspiring to witness the exceptional legal talent displayed by the participating students.
